Privacy Policy

Spot is a marketplace for booking creative and commercial spaces — studios, rooftops, barber chairs, and similar — by the day or by the hour, in Tel Aviv. This policy covers the Spot mobile app and website.

Account information: name, email address, and whether you sign up as a creator (booking spaces) or a host (listing them).

Profile information: bio, profile photo, and — for creators — social handles and niches you add to your creator card.

Booking information: space, dates/times, seat count, and any note left for the host.

Messages: sent through Spot's built-in messaging, to deliver them and show your conversation history.

Location: space and listing addresses are shown on a map so you can find spaces near you. We do not collect your device’s precise location.

Device push token: if you enable notifications, we store a device push token to notify you about booking approvals, declines, and new messages. You can disable this in your device settings.

Photos: cover photos for listings and profile avatars you choose to upload.

To operate the marketplace: accounts, listings, bookings, and messaging between creators and hosts.

To send you notifications about your own bookings and messages.

To display public profile and listing information to other users (e.g. a host's business name and photos are visible to anyone browsing).

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

During the current beta, payment for bookings is settled directly between the creator and host at the venue — Spot does not process payments or store payment card information.

Supabase, our database and backend infrastructure provider, stores account, booking, and message data on our behalf.

Expo delivers push notifications to your device using the push token described above.

Other users, to the extent your profile, listing, or booking information is inherently visible to the other party in a booking or conversation.

We do not share your information with data brokers or advertisers.

We retain account and booking data for as long as your account is active, so your booking history and messages remain available to you. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.

You can edit or delete your profile information from within the app.

You can disable push notifications in your device's system settings.

You can request account deletion by contacting us.

Spot is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
